Hours: 10 hours per week (flexible schedule)

Compensation:

$250/month base (for 10 weekly hours)

$25 bonus for every qualified meeting booked

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help expand our client's music performance business across multiple markets (real estate, weddings, corporate events, senior communities, and residencies).

This role is focused on direct outreach and appointment setting so you’ll identify leads, connect with decision-makers, and book qualified meetings for our client to close.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Outreach

Research and identify prospects across target segments (real estate agents, event planners, venue managers, 55+ activity directors, etc.)

Conduct outreach via phone, email, SMS, and LinkedIn to introduce services.

  • Lead Qualification

Assess fit based on event type, budget, and decision-making role.

Ensure leads meet agreed qualification criteria before booking.

  • Appointment Setting

Schedule confirmed meetings on the client's calendar with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Follow up with prospects to confirm attendance and minimize no-shows.

  • CRM Management

Log all outreach activity in Close CRM (calls, emails, meetings booked).

Maintain accurate prospect notes, tags, and pipeline stages.

Provide weekly reports on activity and booked meetings.

  • Collaboration

Work closely with the client and the agency team to refine outreach scripts.

Share feedback from prospects to improve targeting and messaging.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in appointment setting, tele sales, or sales development (preferred).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable with cold calling and direct outreach.

  • Organized and reliable with CRM/data entry.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently on a lean team.

Success Metrics

  • Book an average of 8 meetings per week

  • Maintain high show-up rates for scheduled appointments.

  • Accurately track and report activity inside Close CRM.
